*LAST SHIFT* Renter's Vote Apartment Canvass + Clash of the Canvassers 2.0: Dawn of Election Day!

Help us spread the word during this last canvass shift in apartment buildings to elect candidates to Victoria City Council who support renters’ rights and affordability in the October 20 Municipal Election! Renter's make up 60% of Victorians and Laurel, Sharmarke, and Sarah are all renters themselves who are committed to bringing that perspective to city council.

Meet us at Together Victoria headquarters where we will assign specific buildings across the city based on our Renter's Vote strategy. No previous canvassing experience is necessary--we can train you on the day and will provide all necessary materials and information.

We will support each other on the day in terms of transportation to and from apartment buildings. If you are able to bring a car for carpooling, that would be greatly appreciated! If not and you are comfortable riding your bike, that is also a good option. If you are not driving or cycling, we will help organize transportation on your behalf.

This evening is our 2nd 'Clash of the Canvassers' eventPrizes will be awarded to those who identify the most supporters... so show us what you got! We encourage each of you to invite a new volunteer (someone who hasn't canvassed with us before) to join your team.

We will then be celebrating all canvassers and volunteers post canvass at the Bentmast Pub (512 Simcoe St)

Let's do this, folks!

Please email campaign@togethervictoria.ca if you have any questions. Hope to see you there!
