Stefanie Hardman is a community-based researcher, urban planner, advocate, and renter. She believes in the power and responsibility of local government to improve people’s lives. Over the past 20 years, Stefanie has been dedicated to strengthening communities by focusing on social and environmental justice. She has worked with a variety of organizations in Victoria including the Greater Victoria Coalition To End Homelessness, the Retail Action Network, the Community Social Planning Council of Greater Victoria, and the Vancouver Island Public Research Group. Stefanie knows that community issues are complex and don’t have a single, silver-bullet solution — but that we can address issues compassionately to build a more affordable, inclusive, and thriving city.
