Sarah's Scary Soiree
We’re not sure if anyone loves Halloween more than Victoria City Councillor Sarah Potts! In honour of her favourite holiday, she is hosting a scary game night where all of the questions are Halloween themed. Part trivia, part game show, all fun-- so join if you dare.
Sarah’s Scary Soiree will take place online using Zoom and the link to join the event will be sent closer to the date! Costumes are HIGHLY encouraged, and may get you an extra point or two in the game. If you need more details about Zoom or what technology you need, email [email protected] We’re happy to walk you through what you need to play.
Tickets are $20 (individual) or $100 (super supporter!). No one will be turned away from this event, so please let us know at [email protected] if this cost is prohibitive for you and we’ll work something out!
We will be hosting this event on the territories of the Lekwungen peoples, today known as the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations. We respectfully acknowledge that the Lekwungen peoples have been living on these lands for time immemorial and we are grateful for their past and ongoing stewardship.
- This event will take place online via Zoom, an online video conferencing service. You will need a computer, tablet, or phone to participate using sound and/or video functions. Due to the interactive nature of the event, we will be unable to provide captions. We will send the link to join the event closer to the date.
- We recognize that the cost of this fundraiser may be prohibitive for some folks to attend and no one will be turned away. If you would like to attend and the cost is a barrier for you, please reach out to us at [email protected]. If you would like to purchase a ticket for another person to attend, please email us at [email protected].
- We will be offering technical support for the event, information about which we will send out with the confirmation email. We highly recommend that you log into Zoom shortly before the event is due to begin to ensure that your video and/or sound is working. As everyone working on this event is a volunteer, we ask for your patience and compassion as we work with folks to ensure that they can participate in the event.
